Student Teacher - Part-Time School Experience
Primary Schools | Flexible Hours | Aspire People

Aspire People are looking to support Student Teachers who are currently studying and want to gain additional practical experience within primary schools alongside their studies.

This is a great opportunity for students who want to build their classroom experience, develop their confidence working with children and gain a better understanding of life in a school setting.

The Role:

* Supporting teachers within the classroom
* Working with pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis
* Assisting with classroom activities and learning
* Supporting pupils with SEND and additional needs
* Helping with reading, phonics, Maths and English activities
* Supporting positive behaviour and classroom routines
* Working with pupils during lessons and less structured parts of the day
* Gaining experience across different year groups and school environments
* Working alongside experienced teachers and support staff

The Ideal Candidate:

* Currently studying towards a teaching, education, childhood or related qualification
* Looking to gain practical experience alongside their studies
* Passionate about working with children
* Patient, enthusiastic and approachable
* Strong communication skills
* Reliable and professional
* Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential
* Interested in developing a future career within education
