The role
As a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and analysing structures across various sectors including commercial, residential, industrial, and infrastructure. You will work closely with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to ensure that projects meet design specifications, codes, and standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform structural analysis and design using industry-standard software.
Develop structural drawings, specifications, and calculations.
Conduct site visits and inspections to assess existing conditions and provide recommendations.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate structural design with architectural and MEP systems.
Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field (Master's degree preferred).
Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in structural engineering.
Proficiency in structural analysis software such as ETABS, SAP2000, or STAAD.Pro.
Strong understanding of building codes and standards (IBC, ASCE, ACI, AISC, etc.).
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
