My client, a successful UK based Multidisciplinary Engineering Consultancy which specialises in Civil and Structural Engineering, is seeking a talented Structural Engineer to join their busy team in Glasgow. Working as a Structural Engineer you will have the opportunity to participate in large commercial projects for sustainable drainage systems, bulk earthworks, blue-green infrastructure, and highways.
It is essential for the candidate to have a professional and commercial viewpoint through having the following:
A minimum of 2 years industry experience in appropriate Structural Engineering design
Working towards a chartership
Experience in software designs relating to steel, timber, concrete and masonry
Previous experience of completing SER packages for building warrantDuties and responsibilities for this Structural Engineer include:
Analysing structural faults and updating all drawings and documentations
Experience of scheme and detailed designs
Working with Assistant/Graduate Engineers / supporting Project Engineers, Technicians and Technical staff.
