Our client is seeking a talented Structural Engineer to join its established team in Leeds, offering an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of building projects within a collaborative and technically driven environment.

The successful candidate will be involved in the design and analysis of a variety of structures, including multi-storey frames, steel portal frames and both new-build and refurbishment schemes. Working with steel and reinforced concrete, you will develop practical, safe and cost-effective solutions while preparing structural calculations, technical reports and design documentation.
Close collaboration with clients, external consultants and colleagues will be key to ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and to a high technical standard. You will also participate in design reviews, project meetings and technical discussions, with the opportunity to manage small to medium-sized projects independently, supported by experienced senior engineers.
Our client is looking for a degree-qualified Structural Engineer with demonstrable experience in building structures, particularly steel and concrete design, alongside a sound understanding of relevant UK design codes and industry standards. Strong communication skills, a proactive approach and the ability to organise workloads effectively are essential.
For engineers keen to progress professionally, this is an excellent opportunity to work towards Chartered status with either IStructE or ICE, developing technical expertise and gaining valuable project experience within a supportive team.
