Structural Engineer Position Overview

* Structural design for all types of building structures. Ideally, with some experience or knowledge of light gauge steel framing

* Help with the preparation of associated AutoCAD structural drawings.

* Providing support and or management of other Structural engineers

* Assistance with site inspections

* Developing new ideas

* Using the latest software

Structural Engineer Position Requirements

* Degree or master’s in civil and or Structural Engineering

* 5-10 years of post-graduate design experience

* Proficiency in IT systems (essential)

* A general understanding of building structures and materials, including steel, masonry, concrete and timber.

* Industry-standard structural design software such as TEDDS & Tekla Structural Designer

* Design experience in Eurocodes / British Standards.

* Proficient in the use of AutoCAD

* Passionate about new technologies and progressive change

* Car owner and UK driving licence
