Description:
Our client, a leader in the HTP sector, is currently seeking a Structural Engineer to join their Highways and Structures Team. This is a contract role that offers flexible working arrangements, with the option to work primarily from home.
Key Responsibilities:
Conducting structural assessments and inspections
Managing and participating in tendering and procurement processes
Providing expert structural engineering input to various projects
Collaborating with the team to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
Preparing detailed technical reports and documentation
Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to foster effective project delivery
Participating in site visits when necessary
Job Requirements:
Experience in structural engineering, specifically within the field of bridges
Proficiency in structural assessment techniques and methodologies
Experience in tendering and procurement processes
Experience in conducting structural inspections
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and report-writing abilities
Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification
