Structural CAD Technician – Devon
Are you an experienced Structural CAD Technician looking for your next career move within an established consultancy offering excellent opportunities for progression and development?
An established structural, civil and infrastructure engineering consultancy based in Devon is looking to recruit an experienced Structural CAD Technician to join its growing team.
Working across residential, commercial, industrial, education and healthcare sectors, the consultancy offers the opportunity to work on a varied portfolio of projects throughout the South West. You will work alongside a team of experienced engineers and technicians, producing detailed structural drawings and supporting projects from initial concept through to completion.

The Role:
Produce detailed 2D structural drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
Work on a variety of building structures across residential, commercial, industrial and public sector projects.
Work alongside structural and civil engineers to develop designs from concept through to completion.
Ensure drawings are accurate and delivered in line with project programmes and deadlines.
Liaise with clients, architects, contractors and other project stakeholders.
Coordinate designs with other engineering disciplines within the practice.
Assist with managing and prioritising multiple projects.
Support and mentor junior members of the team, sharing technical knowledge and best practice.
About You:
Minimum of 2 years' experience working as a Structural CAD Technician or within a similar role.
Proficient in AutoCAD.
Experience using Revit would be advantageous but is not essential.
Good understanding of structural engineering drawings and the design process.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects effectively.
A proactive and organised approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
