We are looking for an experienced Strip & Refit Technician to join a busy vehicle repair team based in Hoo, Medway.
This is a great opportunity for a skilled technician who is confident working on vehicles and has strong attention to detail.
The Role
As a Strip & Refit Technician, you will be responsible for removing and refitting vehicle components as part of the repair process.
Your duties will include:
* Stripping vehicles prior to repair
* Removing damaged panels, trims and components
* Refitting panels and vehicle components following repairs
* Working alongside panel beaters and other technicians
* Ensuring all components are correctly fitted and functioning
* Maintaining a clean and organised working area
* Following health and safety procedures
About You
The successful candidate will:
* Have previous experience in a Strip & Refit Technician or similar role
* Have good knowledge of vehicle components and bodywork
* Be confident using hand and workshop tools
* Have excellent attention to detail
* Be able to work independently and as part of a team
* Take pride in producing a high standard of work
* Be reliable and hardworking
* Have your own transport / be able to drive, as the Hoo location can be difficult to access by public transport
