WHAT TO EXPECT
This is an excellent opportunity for a Strategic Synergy Partnership Manager to join JLR's Tata Ecosystems Team, which is part of the Strategy & Sustainability organisation within JLR. This team oversees maximising synergies between JLR and the larger Tata Group as a crucial enabler for delivering and implementing Refocus 2.0 and the JLR Enterprise Strategy – Reimagine
Within the role, you will collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders within the team and from other Group Companies to maximise synergy opportunities and enable JLR's ambition to become the "Ultimate Customer Centric Enterprise through leadership in Innovation, Digital, and AI (Artificial Intelligence)" through select strategic synergy initiatives between JLR and Tata Group.
The Ambition now focuses on five strategic themes: digital transformation, software defined vehicles, innovation/startups, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths) talent, and customer journey.
You will lead partnerships and advise JLR and Tata Group management on business matters using your understanding of internal JLR functions, external market information, and industry trends.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day constructive collaboration possibilities.
Collaborate with key stakeholders within JLR and Tata Group Companies to coordinate on opportunities that contribute to the Tata Ecosystems Strategic Theme and JLR's ambition to become the "Ultimate Customer Centric Enterprise through leadership in Innovation, Digital, and AI"
Identify new Strategic Themes that match with their Ambition by leveraging knowledge of internal business departments, Tata Group capabilities, as well as external industry information and market trends.
Support the Tata Ecosystems Senior Manager in leading the strategic constructive interaction relationship with the Tata Group to deliver the Ambition.
Report and track the progress of their Strategic Themes. (tracking and monitoring Value and Benefits, Gating Stage movements, priority items).
Responsible for monitoring the utilization and team coverage against their Strategic Themes
Use Tata Group strengths to obtain insights and establish partnerships to adopt best practices inside JLR.
Prepare and file documents for Senior Executive decision forums.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Previous experience in leading major partnerships between complex organizations
Previous experience of strategy development/application,
Strong senior stakeholder management and CxO level communication
Ability to structure and manage complex cross-functional activities, projects, and processes with multiple stakeholders.
Strong influencing skills and ability to build relationships easily – understands the intricacies of managing complex relationships across the global organization.
Ability to innovate and think creatively to drive superior commercial outcomes.
