Key Responsibilities:
Craft and execute visionary sourcing strategies that align with our business objectives
Identify, assess, and negotiate with prospective suppliers, while expertly managing these vital relationships
Partner with internal stakeholders to comprehensively understand their unique procurement needs and provide strategic counsel
Vigilantly analyse market trends and industry best practices, identifying opportunities to drive cost savings
Exercise vigilant oversight of supplier performance, swiftly implementing corrective measures when necessary
Maintain a current understanding of industry regulations, ensuring compliance throughout all sourcing endeavours
Job Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
Procurement experience, specifically evidenced experience of strategically sourcing vendors or suppliers
Experience in engineering management or a related industry such as automotive or aerospace
Displays passion, energy, drive, and agility
Resilience in achieving ambitious targets under difficult circumstances, capitalising on lessons learned and responding positively to setbacks
Enjoys analysing complex and sometimes incomplete information to create easy-to-communicate solutions
Sets stretched goals for themselves and their suppliers, prepared to take measured risks to gain a competitive advantage
Strong stakeholder engagement skills
