Strategic Sourcing Manager

Contract: 6 months
Location: Milton Keynes - Hybrid
Rate: £600 per day Umbrella

We are looking for an experienced Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead sourcing and tender activities across complex, high-value procurement programmes within a regulated environment.

Key responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end sourcing and tender activities.
Manage and support a team of sourcing professionals.
Develop sourcing strategies aligned with category plans.
Ensure procurement activity and documentation meet governance and regulatory requirements.
Provide guidance on procurement policy, compliance and assurance.
Work with senior stakeholders, governance and assurance teams.
Support reporting and wider management activities.About you:

Strong public sector procurement experience is essential.
Proven team management and leadership experience.
Strong understanding of governance, assurance and compliance.
PA23 experience/training is desirable.
MCIPS or equivalent is preferred.
Strong commercial, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
Infrastructure, engineering or rail experience would be advantageous.
Able to hit the ground running in a fast-paced, reactive environment.
