Description:
Strategic Procurement Manager
Location: Cambridgeshire, working from home with a couple of days in the office per month
Manage contract renewals and related procedures
Facilitate the integration of new suppliers
Guarantee the excellence of purchase order output and delivery services
Design and execute streamlined procurement processes and tactics
Support the integration of Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance principles into procurement practices
Lead RFI, RFP, RFQ processes and deliver findings
Engage in negotiations for contracts of moderate to high value
Oversee supplier performance and cultivate vendor relationships
Offer insights for Management Information through data analysis and procurement analytics to forecast and manage risksThe ideal candidate will have:
Established history of success in procurement or purchasing roles
Understanding of procurement principles, methods, and strategies
Experience in sourcing, negotiating contracts, and managing suppliers
Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, and ERP/SAP4Hana
Capability in database administration
Have experience in IT or Marketing or Professional Services categories
