Part Time Contract at 21.60 hours / week ( 6 months )
Novax Recruitment is actively seeking a Strategic Finance Business Partner in Sutton. This is a contract without a scope for extension working full time hours.
The job:
Apply professional judgement to interpret and apply policies and procedures to meet specific local or service needs
Provide day to day management and professional supervision to staff to ensure operational plans and activities are delivered effectively
Lead small projects and implement changes and improvements within agreed cost, time and quality standards.
Support the Head of Financial Planning & Business Partnering to lead and coordinate medium term financial planning for the revenue budgets
Support and advise senior budget holders to manage financial risk and protect the financial health of the organisation The candidate:
Relevant professional qualification (CIMA, MBA, CIPFA, etc.) or equivalent experience
Experience of working within a business partnering model in a local authority setting and/or complex organisation
Knowledge of corporate financial management
