Strategic Estates Productivity Lead
Community Health Partnerships (CHP)
North West/Midlands (hybrid working)

Community Health Partnerships as an NHS company provides an informed client role for NHS partners. Thoroughly understanding their needs and therefore able to act in their best interest, CHP provides management of the delivery and performance of the LIFT partnering services on behalf of the NHS.

CHP works in partnership at a local level with the health and care systems across the UK. They enable the NHS to provide innovative and sustainable spaces for patient care, whilst keeping a keen eye on what is influencing the use of the healthcare estate, now and into the future.

The Strategic Estates Productivity Lead role will develop and lead the implementation of initiatives to increase productivity and patient throughput within a Health System’s estate portfolio. They will also lead on the delivery of resultant initiatives across the community LIFT portfolio, securing the strategic relevance of the CHP asset base within the primary, community, mental health and social care sectors.

The post-holder will play a key role in building and maintaining good strategic relationships with decision makers and influencers in the NHS both regionally and local within the established health and care systems.

Key responsibilities will include:

Promote, secure and oversee delivery of opportunities that embed the LIFT estate within local service delivery, increasing the value the NHS achieve through the portfolio base;
Working with Regional Directors, advisory team, and NHS partners to enable the development and delivery of services in response to the NHS market;
Management of programme/projects both internal and external and associated budget needs;
Support the delivery of CHP integrated business plans and KPIs;
Represent CHP interests on regional and local forums as required;
Support the development of a forward pipeline of productivity programmes, to be implemented by CHP’s regional and operational teams;
Work with existing joint ventures developing their supply chains to enable delivery of our strategic goals;
Manage programme resources to enable the effective implementation of key workstreams that support CHP strategic objectives that underpin increased asset optimisation;
Develop and maintain a network of professional contacts and relationships, including and not limited to LIFTCo Managed Service Providers and other private sector partners.
Key areas of experience and knowledge required includes:

Senior leadership experience within Healthcare Estates and Facilities;
Proven track record of infrastructure planning within healthcare;
In-depth understanding of the NHS Long Term Plan;
Ability to establish needs and develop deliverable commercial models;
LIFTCo knowledge and understanding;
Ability to engage with individuals at all levels across numerous organisations.
