Job Title: Stores Controller
Job Type: Permanent
Location: Barton Le Clay
Salary: £25,000 per annum depending on experience
Hours: 40 hours per week
Days of Work: Monday to Thursday 7am to 4pm Friday: 7am to 1pm
Previous experience of Stock Control, Stores or Goods in/out is essential for this role as you will be solely responsible for the stores area.
Duties will include: -
* Receiving goods from deliveries
* Checking goods in against orders
* Booking in free issue parts
* Inspecting parts for damage and reporting in a timely manner
* Allocate goods into kits for the production staff
* Picking kits for production
* Updating production on kits picked
* Stock taking of consumable parts
* Keeping all paperwork up to date
* Keeping stores area clean and tidy
* Forklift license a benefit but not essential
This role involves the lifting and carrying of goods to and from the stores areas so the applicant would need to be physically fit.
Good computer skills is essential as you will be entering stock information onto the computer system.
