Absolute Industrial Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Stores/Branch Assistant on behalf of our clients based in Oldbury.
The Stores/Branch Assistant will be an integral part of the team, which will include front facing customers, ensuring everything runs smoothly in a timely manner and ensuring customer satisfaction.
This is a varied role for someone looking to join a well-established team who are known for their reputation in the distribution industry and for their outstanding customer service and solutions.
Duties & Responsibilities will include but are not limited to;
* Assisting customers at the stores desk in a professional manner
* Ensuring customer orders are complete and correct prior to delivery
* Meeting the needs of global customers by ensuring timely delivery of ordered products
* Assisting customers with making purchases by learning product knowledge
* Stock control/replenishment and order entry
* Order picking and packing of shelved products
* Occasionally driving company vehicle to deliver local products, delivering in good condition with a friendly manner
* Unloading any deliveries/packages
* Obtaining delivery paperwork and documentation
* Assisting current team with any other duties assigned by management
Skills & Experience;
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Customer focused, friendly and professional.
* Computer literate
* Team player with the ability to work alone at times
* Organised with excellent timekeeping and management skills
* Order picking and packing experience preferabe
* Experience within a stores/warehouse role environment preferred
