The Role

Our client is s seeking a dedicated and skilled Stores & Warehouse Assistant to join their team on a fixed term basis of 3 months. This role involves maintaining and repairing equipment used in various environmental and engineering projects (sewage).

· Building flow-hawks and replacing batteries with fairly easy/modular parts.

· Utilising battery power tools, digital voltmeter and hand tools

· Creating barcodes/QR stickers

· Cleaning equipment and attaching/fitting the stickers

· Creating and scanning assets onto Teamleaf software

· Regeneration of Dryer Tubes

· Opening and removing silica gel crystals from dryers

· Reinstalling new silica gel and reassembling the dryers

· Moving batteries and equipment between warehouse and workshop

· Replacing leisure batteries in charging stations

· Moving pallets with a pallet trolley

· Washing sampler bottles and various equipment as required

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. You should have a proactive attitude and be willing to learn and adapt to new tasks as required.

The following are also essential:

· Strong manual dexterity and practical skills

· Basic PC literacy, including familiarity with asset management software,

· Ability to handle physical tasks and manual handling,

· Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and organised workspace.
