Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to join a great team and make a real impact?
We are seeking a talented and driven Stores Person to join a small team based in Horsham!
Please note you MUST hold a driving Licence to apply for this role but do not need to own a vehicle.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Receive and document incoming materials and supplies.
* Booking in and out on our stocking system.
* Ensure accurate and organised storage of materials in the warehouse.
* Maintain appropriate inventory levels and perform regular stock checks.
* Arrange and label storage areas for easy accessibility.
* Implement efficient shelving and storage solutions to maximize space utilisation.
* Collaborate with the inspection department to ensure quality control of incoming materials.
* Liaise with the purchasing department to coordinate material orders and deliveries.
* Communicate with production supervisors to fulfil material requirements and schedules.
* Driving a forklift to load and unload deliveries and to load pallets on to racking will be needed. Training will be supplied to the successful candidate if required. Counterbalance and Reach Forklifts are in use.
