Jonathan Lee Recruitment is helping a leading food manufacturing business in Telford, Shropshire recruit a Stores Person on a permanent basis, the role comes with an attractive salary up to £30,000 per annum and benefits package.
Due to the location of the site, we are looking for someone who has a Full UK Driving License and own transport.
As part of the team, the Stores Person will be working within the Engineering Stores Department and will be reporting to the Engineering Manager. The working hours will be Monday - Friday 8.00am-5.00pm.
As a Stores Person, a typical working day will include the following daily duties:
Tracking and reporting stores performance through CMMS, to include stock accuracy and turnover
Complete regular cycle counts and full stock counts
Optimise Engineering stock spares holding in line with inventory management and criticality analysis
Manage engineering materials location via the CMMS
Monitor, recommend and improve the minimum and maximum order points.
To apply for this Stores Person role you must have previous experience within a similar role, other key requirements for this role will include:
Experience with a CMMS, or an ERP system within a Warehouse
Knowledge of the Purchase Order Process
FLT License - PREFERRED
Experience within the food manufacturing industry - PREFERRED
