Location: Storekeeper
Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, Day Shifts
Contract: Temporary to Permanent

About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and organised Store Keeper to join a busy bus depot. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with stores, warehouse, or inventory experience who is looking for a long-term position with the potential to secure a permanent contract.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing the receipt, storage, and issue of vehicle parts, tools, and consumables.
* Maintaining accurate stock records and inventory levels.
* Processing deliveries and checking goods received against delivery notes.
* Picking and issuing parts to engineering and maintenance teams.
* Conducting regular stock checks and cycle counts.
* Ensuring the stores area is kept clean, organised, and safe.
* Liaising with suppliers and depot staff regarding stock requirements.
* Recording stock movements using manual and/or computerised systems.
* Supporting the engineering team with parts availability and stock control.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a stores, warehouse, inventory, or stock control role.
* Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
* Basic computer literacy.
* Strong communication skills.
* Forklift licence desirable but not essential.
* Experience within a transport, engineering, automotive, or bus depot environment would be advantageous.
