Day Rate: £200 (Umbrella)
Location: Silverstone
Contract: 6x Months – End March 2027
Pattern: 5 Days Onsite

The Role
We are seeking a Stores Operator to join a high-performance engineering organisation at its Silverstone facility.
You will play an important role in managing inventory, processing stock movements and ensuring materials are available to support day-to-day operational requirements.
The role will also involve driving a van for deliveries and collections, transporting parts and materials between internal and external destinations.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect and store incoming materials and components.
Process stock movements and maintain accurate inventory records.
Prepare and dispatch materials as required.
Deliver and collect parts using a company vehicle.
Maintain a clean, tidy and organised storage area.
Support regular stock audits and inventory reconciliations.
Use ERP systems to track inventory and orders.
Report stock discrepancies and issues promptly.
Collaborate with colleagues and other departments to fulfil material requests.
Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks where required.
Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with health and safety requirements.What You’ll Bring:
Full, clean UK driving licence – essential.
Comfortable and confident driving a van.
Previous experience within a stores, warehouse or logistics environment.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks.
Basic computer skills, ideally including experience with ERP systems.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
Good understanding of warehouse health and safety practices.
Flexible, proactive and positive approach to work.
