Our client, a prominent player in the manufacturing sector, is seeking a Stores Operative to join their engineering team in Fareham. This contract role is essential for maintaining the efficiency and organisation of the onsite stores, playing a vital part within the Goods In department.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparing kits/components for the production team
Following instructions for picking and Packing items for distribution to production
Organising and maintaining the stores and physical stocks
Ensuring parts are correctly stored and issued to avoid damage
Following all Health & Safety guidelines
Inputting data information into computers
Multi-drop local delivery driving
Job Requirements:
Experience working within a manufacturing stores environment
Kitting or picking and packing experience essential
High level of attention to detail
PC literate
Ability to carry out stock checks
Ability to read and follow instructions for picking and packing
Full clean UK Driving Licence as will need to make deliveries from time to time
