Stores & Assembly Coordinator - Totton - £35,000-£40,000

Are you experienced within Stores/Warehouse but looking for a role with more ownership and responsibility?

TeamJobs are recruiting for a Stores & Assembly Coordinator to join a specialist engineering business based in Totton.

This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll take ownership of the stores, specialist hardware assembly and quality control, making sure everything is correctly assembled, checked and ready for upcoming projects.

Hours & Salary

£35,000-£40,000 per annum

Monday-Friday

8:00am-5:00pm

Permanent position

What you'll be doing

Taking ownership of the day-to-day stores operation

Receiving, checking and booking in components and equipment

Picking and preparing parts for upcoming projects

Assembling specialist hardware and rigging components

Carrying out quality checks on completed assemblies

Managing stock levels and maintaining accurate inventory

Using internal stock/ERP systems to track parts and equipment

Identifying and resolving missing, damaged or incorrect components

Keeping the stores and assembly area organised and efficient

Working closely with the wider project team to ensure everything is ready on time

What we're looking for

Previous Stores, Warehouse or Stock Control experience

Hands-on assembly or mechanical experience

Confident using computerised stock/ERP systems

Excellent attention to detail and quality

Practical, organised and comfortable taking ownership

Experience within marine, engineering, manufacturing, aerospace or automotive would be beneficial

You don't need previous rigging experience - we're more interested in finding someone with the right stores experience, technical ability and attention to detail who can learn the specialist side of the role.
