Stores Operative
Ely
Temp to Perm
£14.00 per hour
Monday to Friday, 12:00pm – 8:30pm
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Stores Operative to join a busy and growing warehouse operation in Ely.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong stock control and warehouse experience who is looking for a long-term position with the potential to become permanent.
Key Responsibilities
Tracking, managing, and maintaining accurate stock records
Carrying out quality control checks and inspecting goods for damage or shortages
Loading and unloading deliveries, both manually and using a forklift where required
Investigating stock discrepancies and reporting faults or issues promptly
Supporting stock audits and inventory checks
Ensuring warehouse stock accuracy and maintaining high operational standards
Requirements
Counterbalance Forklift experience preferred but not essential providing on experience (valid or recently expired licence accepted)
Alternatively, extensive warehouse and stock control experience
Good literacy and numeracy skills
Strong attention to detail with the ability to process information accurately
Reliable, organised, and able to work effectively within a team environment
