Location: West Hull
Salary: £12.86 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm

We are currently recruiting for a Stores Operative to join a well-established and prestigious manufacturing company based in West Hull. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and reliable individual to become part of a successful team producing high-quality products for customers across the UK and beyond.

Working within a busy stores and warehouse environment, you will play a key role in ensuring materials and products are accurately received, stored, picked, and despatched to support production and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Booking goods in and checking deliveries against purchase orders.
Accurately storing stock and maintaining organised warehouse locations.
Carrying out regular stock checks and inventory counts.
Updating stock records and reporting discrepancies.
Picking components and materials for production requirements.
Preparing finished goods and customer orders for despatch.
Packing products securely to ensure safe transportation.
Loading and unloading deliveries where required.
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised stores environment.
Working closely with production, purchasing, and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.

What We're Looking For

Previous experience within a stores, warehouse, or stock control environment.
Good attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to manage stock effectively and keep accurate records.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workloads.
A proactive and team-focused attitude.
Basic computer skills for stock management systems.
Forklift Truck licence would be advantageous but is not essential.
