Are you an Stores Operative?

We currently have a temporary Stores operative role available with DS Smith. This role is ideal for someone with previous stores and admin experience

Role: Stores Operative

Shifts: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm or 8am-4pm

Pay: £14ph per hour

Duration: 6 months

Location: DS Smith Packaging, South Mills, The Ridgeway, Blunham, Bedford MK44 3PH

100% site based

Main tasks include

*

Monitoring stock levels, ensuring that material is available as required to meet production plans

*

Goods in, goods out

*

Booking and processing deliveries

*

Cooperate with purchasing and planning team to ensure materials are available

*

Reorder materials and consumables to avoid shortages

*

Stock Control: Investigate discrepancies between physical and system stock

*

Ensure items are properly labelled and stored promptly

*

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods and materials against delivery notes

*

Loading & unloading deliveries with FLT

Requirements

*

Excellent IT skills and proficient in the use of Google suite & Microsoft Office suite

*

FLT licence

*

Flexible and adaptable attitude with ability to prioritise a range of different tasks.

*

Exceptional communication skills, at all levels, both written and verbal.

*

Excellent organisational and time management skills.

*

Excellent interpersonal skills with other members of staff at all levels of the organisation.

*
