Stores Controller

Description:

We are currently recruiting for a Stores Controller to join a busy manufacturing site in Plymouth. This is a hands-on role responsible for the day-to-day running of stores operations, including material handling, goods inwards and dispatch.

Key Responsibilities:

* Kitting batches and supplying materials to production areas, including clean rooms and packing lines

* Moving stock and accurately recording movements using picking lists and ERP systems (full training provided)

* Controlling and recording movements of materials and finished goods in line with procedures

* Receiving goods inwards and preparing finished products for dispatch

* Loading and unloading deliveries, including pallet wrapping and strapping

* Carrying out cycle counts and stock checks to maintain inventory accuracy

* Ensuring stores, goods inwards, and dispatch areas are kept clean and organised

* Supporting wider business needs with any additional reasonable tasks

What We’re Looking For:

* Previous experience within a supply chain, manufacturing, or warehouse environment

* Understanding of ERP systems and stock rotation methods such as FEFO

* Forklift licence (advantageous but not essential)

* Knowledge of risk assessments and safe working practices

* Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Rotational Hours 6am – 2pm & 11am – 7pm
