Competitive Salary & Benefits
At Hayley Dexis we’ve built-up our reputation over the course of the last five decades with stock, service and people at the core of everything we do. As we enter an exciting period of growth our 1,400 people doing things the “Hayley Way” play a vital role in our ongoing success.
We’re proud to be an equal opportunities employer, our people truly make the difference bringing energy, expertise, and passion that help us deliver outstanding service to our customers every single day.
We’re excited to offer a brilliant opportunity for an enthusiastic Stores Assistant to join our Onsite team based at our customer site in Bradford on a 12-month, fixed term contract.
About the Stores Assistant role:
You'll be the person who keeps everything organised, accurate and running smoothly behind the scenes. From carrying out regular stock checks and ensuring parts are where they should be, to booking in deliveries and putting stock away, you'll play a key part in supporting the site's day-to-day engineering activities.
You'll take ownership of stock accuracy, keeping a close eye on inventory levels and helping to make sure critical parts and consumables are always available when needed. You'll also get involved in creating service kits for planned maintenance work, managing items being returned into stores, and helping to identify opportunities to standardise parts and improve efficiencies.
No two days are quite the same, so we're looking for someone who's happy to roll their sleeves up and get stuck in. One minute you might be printing and replacing part labels, the next you could be helping resolve a stock query or working with colleagues to ensure spare parts are reordered before they become an issue.
What we’re looking for in our Stores Assistant:
Previous experience in a stores, warehouse, stock control, or engineering support role.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workloads.
Confidence working with stock management systems and inventory processes.
A proactive approach with a willingness to get involved in all aspects of the operation.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
What you’ll get in return:
From 23 days annual leave (plus public/bank holidays)
Invitation to healthcare schemes
Company pension scheme
Wellness programmes
Uniform and PPE provided
Training and development provided through our own Hayley Academy
What to expect from our recruitment process:
Initial screening
Microsoft Teams interview with our Talent Acquisition Advisor
Face to face interview either in-person or Microsoft Teams
Decision outcome
We’ll close this role on 21st October, but may do so earlier if we receive strong interest so don’t miss out.
