Role Overview
We’re recruiting for a Cleaning Manager to join our passionate and driven Cleaning team based at our client’s site in Cheadle Heath
You’ll oversee all cleaning and associated duties carried out by all those that you are responsible for supervising.
Key Responsibilities:
Allocate tasks and responsibilities to the cleaning team to meet store requirements.
To maintain high standards by monitoring the work completed and making any changes for improvement
Recruit and coach the cleaning team to achieve the best results by having open and continuous conversations together for the development
Communicate daily with store representatives to resolve issues and build positive working relationships.
Maintain budgets for use of all equipment, stock and on rota planning.
Check equipment is clean and safe to use.
Lead colleague inductions covering health and safety training and role expectations
Ensure all employee training is recorded in line with company policies
Handle grievance, disciplinary or welfare matters as required with the support of the area management team and HR.
Accurately report sickness and ensure absence levels are managed correctly
Other duties reasonably expected to deliver an effective and efficient service to our customer
Role Requirements
Applicants must have the right to work in the UK
Previous experience as a Cleaning Manager or Supervisor is desirable or ability to lead the team
Experience in staffing, rotas, training, and basic HR compliance is desirable
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise as well as being flexible with working hours and days
Excellent attention to detail is required.
Training will be provided.
