About The Role:

As a Stock Controller Days, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of our stock, supporting smooth operations across the warehouse, and acting as a key point of control for goods in, inventory accuracy, and reporting.

This is a role for someone who thrives in a structured, data-driven environment, yet is adaptable when things shift because in warehousing, they often do.

No two days are the same in this fast-paced role. You’ll manage a variety processes, and help improve how we work to ensure consistent, work practices. If you’re ready to get stuck in and make an impact, we’d love to hear from you.

Contract: Full time permanent contract

Hours: 40.25 hours per week

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off rotational shift pattern

Working Hours: 6:00am – 6:00pm

Here's What You Can Expect To Be Doing:

Ensure all inbound documentation aligns with system entries, accurately assigning trailers to the appropriate bays. Promptly identify, report, and action any discrepancies in a timely manner, maintaining operational flow in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

• Manage inbound shipments via the Goods In Dashboard, processing items from JIT, KLS, 3rd Party, and Bulk suppliers, while escalating any discrepancies to Customer Service, Finance, and Returns.

• Conduct inventory investigations using the Warehouse Management System (GEAC) to resolve physical/system stock discrepancies including negative balances, order errors, and missing or excess stock, among other inventory-related anomalies that may arise.

• Generate and manage inventory reports, ensuring they are completed on schedule, prioritised effectively during busy periods, and maintained to a high standard of accuracy.

• Handle 3rd Party product-specific processes, including inbound management, investigations, and reporting, according to internal protocols.

Your efforts will directly support the business in delivering operational excellence, reducing stock loss, and maintaining high levels of inventory accuracy.

A Few Things About You:

Essential

Ability to identify discrepancies and investigate root causes methodically.

Comfortable working with numerical data and warehouse systems.

Confident in communicating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.

Able to take initiative in resolving stock-related challenges and anomalies.

Desirable

Experience with Microsoft 365. Strong experience with WMS and MS Excel is preferred; ability to quickly learn new systems is essential.
