The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Stock Controller to oversee inventory management and ensure accurate stock records are maintained. The successful candidate will work closely with operational teams to monitor stock levels, coordinate stock movements, and support the smooth running of the site.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate stock records and inventory reports
Monitor stock levels and investigate discrepancies
Process stock movements and update internal systems
Conduct regular stock checks and cycle counts
Liaise with warehouse, production, and transport teams
Support goods-in and goods-out processes
Complete administrative duties relating to stock control
Produce reports using Excel and other stock management systems
Ensure all stock is stored and managed safely and efficiently

What We're Looking For

Previous experience in a Stock Controller, Inventory Controller, Warehouse Administrator, or similar role
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Excel
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience within the steel industry is preferred but not essential
A proactive and flexible approach to work
