Position; Stock Controller
Location; Oxford
Salary; £15 per hour
Planet Recruitment are proud to be working with our well-established client in Oxford area who are seeking a temporary Stock Controller on a 3-month contract basis.
Main responsibilities;
Embed best practice of stock control across the team.
Co-ordinate & execute all picking activity and deliver stock accurately to workshop, working closely with materials management department.
Participate and contribute to team meetings in a positive manner.
Ensure parcel deliveries have accurate Proof of Deliveries
Undertake pro-active Perpetual Inventory counting and resolve queries promptly.
Liaise with Procurement colleagues to maximise efficiencies and resolve inbound & outbound queries.
Develop and implement new procedures to enhance efficiencies and embrace D365 practices.
Operate MHE in safe and careful manner.
Ensure Microsoft Dynamics 365 stock records match physical stock with above 98% accuracy at item level.
Operate to 5S standards and principles.Required;
Familiar with manufacturing, automotive or engineering operations.
Demonstrable ability to undertake precise tasks with a minimum of errors.
Deep understanding of stock control with track record to support.
Track record of implementing operational enhancements in a logistics environment.
Deep understanding of inbound, middle bound and outbound warehouse processes.
Embrace close knit team working philosophy.
