Our Trades & Labour Division have secured a number of key Infrastructure contracts across the UK, and we are currently looking for a Steel Fixer Chargehand for the HS2 Project, to be engaged on a long-term basis.
Responsibilities:
Assemble and erect steel components
Positioning, assembling and fixing of different shapes and sizes of steel rebar to the correct specification and tolerance
Ensure work undertaken is completed with due regard for quality, productivity and safety
Interpreting drawings and specifications in ordered to assemble and install the components correctly
Direct tradespersons and support the General/Working Foreman
Observing the highest levels of health and safety at all times
Essential:
CSCS Blue Skilled Card
SSSTS
Good communication skills
