Description:
A Steel Operative / FLT / Overhead Crane Operator is required for a steel processing company based in the Cradley Heath area of the West Midlands.
It's a great opportunity to join a well-established multi-national steel firm on a temporary basis to begin, with a view to long term permanent opportunities. You will be working with long product, such as bars, beams and square section, operating overhead cranes and driving counterbalance FLTs, picking steel, and more.
Duties include:
Operating overhead cranes to handle steel
Driving counterbalance FLTs
Picking steel in various forms, primarily long product
Visual quality inspection
Inputting stock data accuratelyYou WILL need a licence for both overhead cranes and counterbalance FLTs.
This position is working straight days;
Working: 8:00am - 4:00pm, Mon to Fri
Paying £13.50 per hour
