Job Title: Steel Fixer
Location: Coleshill Birmingham - Starting at Leamington Spa Coventry next week for 3 days then straight onto coleshill.
Duration: 18+ Months. CIS Payments.
Start Date: Immediately.
OVERTIME AVAILABLE MIDWEEK. 11.5 HOUR DAYS AVAILABLE . FIRST 10 FLAT RATE TIME AND A HALF AFTER.
Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years experience as a steel fixer
* BBV Induction card
Job Description:
We are seeking blue CSCS Steel Fixers to join our team for a 2-year project on the HS2 construction site in Coleshill starting Monday . The successful candidates will play a crucial role in ensuring the structural integrity and safety of the project.
Responsibilities:
* Perform steel fixing according to project specifications.
* Interpret blueprints and drawings to accurately position and secure steel components.
* Cut, bend, and shape steel bars as required.
* Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards and regulations.
* Collaborate with the construction team to achieve project milestones.
Qualifications:
* Minimum of 2 year of experience in steel fixing.
* Knowledge of steel fixing techniques, equipment, and tools.
* Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Rate and Hours.
Rate is £21 - £23 for first 10 hours depending on experience. . Up to 2+ years work on the biggest construction site in the UK. 11.5 Hours on site - 11.5 paid and time and a half after 10 hours. Saturdays paid at 1.5x.
