Frontline Construction Recruitment is currently looking for experienced Steel Fixers to work on a busy construction project in Cambridge.
We are looking for reliable, hardworking operatives with previous site experience who can work efficiently as part of a team and maintain high standards of workmanship.
Duties & Responsibilities
Fixing and tying steel reinforcement bars and mesh
Reading and working from reinforcement drawings
Cutting, bending and positioning reinforcement steel
Installing reinforcement for concrete structures, foundations, beams and slabs
Ensuring steel is fixed accurately to project specifications
Working alongside other trades to meet project deadlines
Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment
Requirements
Previous experience as a Steel Fixer is essential
Valid CSCS card
Ability to read reinforcement drawings preferred
Full PPE and relevant tools
Good understanding of site health and safety
Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
