Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for a Stator Winder on a 6 month rolling contract based in Warwickshire.

Role Summary

We're recruiting experienced stator winders for a contract with a leading manufacturer of large electric motors and generators in Warwickshire. You'll be winding multi-MW HV machines used in energy, industrial and marine applications.

Responsibilities

* Fitting slot liners and inserting form-wound coils

* Wedging and packing

* End-winding bracing and blocking

* Brazing connections (induction and flame)

* Connecting and cabling

* Working to engineering drawings and quality procedures

Requirements

* Proven stator winding experience on MV/HV motors or generators

* Hands-on coil insertion, not just coil prep or taping

* Brazing experience

* Ability to read engineering drawings

* Good attention to detail and a safe way of working

* VPI or HV testing experience

* A background in a rewind shop or with an OEM
