Our client, a prominent player in the rail sector, is looking to recruit a SSOWP/Possession Planner to join their dynamic team on a three-month contract basis. Located in Tonbridge, this role is ideal for individuals with a solid background in possessions planning, offering the opportunity to contribute to crucial railway operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Developing and managing Safe System of Work Plans (SSOWP) across multiple rail sectors.
Planning and coordinating track possessions to ensure safe and efficient rail operations.
Utilising railway-specific software tools such as RailHub and Ellipse to facilitate planning.
Liaising with project managers and other stakeholders to align project timelines and requirements.
Ensuring strict compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Updating and maintaining accurate planning documents and records.
Job Requirements:
Proficient knowledge of SSOWP and railway possessions planning (CORE).
Experience using railway industry software tools like RailHub and Ellipse is highly desirable.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Understanding of rail industry safety protocols and regulations.
