Role: Spot Welder / Pemserting Operator
Location: Sudbury, Suffolk
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 06:30 - 17:00
Pay: £12.75 - £15.00+ p/hour (DOE)
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
We are currently recruiting for a Spot Welder / Pemserting Operator to join a well-established manufacturing business in Sudbury. This is a great opportunity for someone with assembly, fabrication, or sheet metal experience looking to develop their skills within a busy production environment.
Spot Welder / Pemserting Operator Duties:
Operating spot welding and pemserting equipment to assemble sheet metal components
Reading and following engineering drawings and production instructions
Positioning and securing components ready for assembly
Carrying out quality checks on completed products
Using hand tools to complete assembly tasks
Supporting general production and fabrication duties
Identifying any quality issues and reporting concerns to the team
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working areaWhat We're Looking For:
Previous experience within manufacturing, assembly, fabrication or engineering
Experience using spot welding equipment, pemserting machinery or similar tools would be advantageous
Ability to read and follow technical drawings or work instructions
Comfortable using hand tools and working with small components
Good attention to detail and a focus on quality
Reliable, hardworking and able to work well within a teamTraining can be provided for candidates with the right attitude and similar manufacturing experience.
