The vacancy
DN Colleges are recruiting a Lecturer in Sports to join our Sport & Uniformed Services department at North Lindsey College. This Is your chance to inspire the next generation of fitness professionals.
The purpose of this role is the delivery of high-quality teaching in sport and gym instructing, supervising and managing student groups in practical settings, and contribution to the curriculum development and quality improvement.
Our LET’s Teach programme provides you the internal network and resource to boost your teaching style and incorporate new technologies into programmes of delivery. You will support with student recruitment and contribute to creating a positive environment on site for students and colleagues alike.
The successful candidate will:
* Hold a teaching qualification, or work towards a teaching qualification
* Degree or professional qualification at Level 3.
* GCSE or equivalent in Maths & English
* Experience working within an FE setting is desirable but not essential.
* Our learner’s safety and wellbeing is a priority, so understanding safeguarding in education is also desirable.

This is a part time vacancy, working 8:30am-5pm Mon, Weds & Thurs.
The pro rata salary range is £19,223.24 - £25,060.56 Per annum

Lets Teach Programme
Let’s Teach The LET’s teach programme supports new members of teaching staff in terms of college systems and key teaching and learning areas including new staff lesson visits and postcard peeps. Each new member of staff has an allocated Lead Practitioner who works closely with them throughout the programme.

The LET’s Bloom Programme aims to connect our experienced and qualified teachers to share best practice and support continued risk-taking as we continue to add depth to our teaching craft. Teachers volunteer on this one year programme, working closely with the Learning Enhancement Team, capturing their experimentation in a journal
