£10.90 - £11.44 per hour

Full time – Term time only

The successful Sports Coach will have the ability to promote students' self-resilience, support their well-being, and equip them with essential life skills for future success. We are proud to have a qualified and experienced Therapeutic Services team based at the school that provides exceptional levels of integrated therapeutic support, ensuring every young person achieves social, emotional, and academic success.

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Sports Coach to join our team as a Teaching Assistant at our school in Wolverhampton. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting students' development, both academically and emotionally, through the integration of sports coaching and educational assistance.

Key Responsibilities:

-Deliver engaging sports coaching  and intervention sessions to students.

-Support students in their academic learning, providing one-to-one assistance when necessary.

-Foster positive relationships with students to promote their well-being and personal development.

-Contribute to the creation of an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students.

-Uphold the school's values and ethos in all interactions with students, staff, and parents.

Requirements:

-Prior experience working with children in some capacity is essential.

-Qualified sports coach with relevant certifications (desirable but not essential).

-Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with students.

-Understanding of the importance of emotional support and resilience-building in education.

-Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

-Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students.

-Commitment to promoting inclusivity and diversity within the school community.
