Are you a qualified and experienced Secondary Teacher currently looking for new role?
GSL Education South Yorkshire are currently seeking to appoint an enthusiastic key stage 4 Sports Graduates and Sports Coaches to undertake a position at one of our client Secondary schools. The School is looking for someone who can start ASAP.
A dynamic and committed Sports Coach is required to teach Sports throughout the school. The ability to teach across a wide range of sports is desirable as well as a strong interest. Ability to teach examined PE would also be advantageous.
About the Secondary Teaching role:
Within the context of the school's curriculum and schemes of work, plan and teach lessons to the classes they are assigned to teach
Possess the skills and determination to make a significant difference to the lives of students as a Sports Coach.
Be proven to raise and maintain attainment levels, keeping standards high in Sports .
Contribute to the development, implementation and evaluation of the school’s policies, practices and procedures in such a way as to support the school’s values, ethos and vision
Be an enthusiastic towards physical education, highly motivated individual who leads by example.
About the Candidate:
Will hold a Sports related Degree at 2:1 classification or higher
Will have experience working with young people
Must have previous experience as a Physical Education Teacher in a Secondary School
Understanding of teaching, learning and assessment strategies
Will collaborate within the Sports team to contribute to the department's success
Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills with excellent behaviour management strategies.
Must have an enhanced child workforce DBS or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education
