About the Role:
Supply Desk are working with a mixed Secondary school based in Southampton ages 11-16, the role of a Sports Coach will start at the beginning of the academic year in September. There is the possibility to work full or part-time, ideal for someone who wants to work between 08:30-15:30.

Job Description:
The Sports Coach role encompasses a diverse range of responsibilities, including promoting the physical, mental and emotional health and well-being of the students. It will also involve creating an inclusive environment through pre-prepared sports lessons, encouraging participation and fostering growth within the students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver pre-prepared sports lessons and activities to students aged 11 to 16 across various sports.
- Promote a positive and inclusive sports culture, encouraging all students to participate.
- Collaborate with colleagues in the PE department to deliver lessons effectively.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students during sports activities.
Requirements:
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Sports Science, Physical Education, or a related field is desirable.
- Experience in coaching and working with secondary school students.
- Strong knowledge of various sports and the physical education curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Knowledge of sports-related safety protocols.
- Enthusiasm for promoting physical fitness and a healthy lifestyle.
