Description:

Sponsorship Sales Manager – Defence & Automotive
London | £35,000–£55,000 + Uncapped OTE

We’re currently working with a global B2B events and media organisation that is looking to add an ambitious Sponsorship Sales Manager to their growing commercial team.

This is a particularly exciting opportunity as the successful candidate will work across two specialist divisions – Defence and Automotive, selling sponsorship and commercial opportunities across an international portfolio of conferences, events, media and digital products.
The business works with senior decision-makers and leading organisations globally, giving you the opportunity to build relationships across two fascinating and constantly evolving industries.

The Role
As a Sponsorship Sales Manager, you’ll be responsible for driving revenue across both the Defence and Automotive portfolios, with a strong focus on both account development and new business.
You’ll be:

Selling sponsorship opportunities across a portfolio of international conferences and events
Managing and developing relationships with existing clients
Identifying and winning new business opportunities
Building relationships with senior-level stakeholders and decision-makers
Understanding clients' objectives and developing creative, commercially valuable sponsorship solutions
Managing your own sales pipeline and revenue forecasts
Researching target markets, competitors and potential clients
Working closely with internal Marketing, Operations and Production teams
Developing a strong understanding of both the Defence and Automotive sectors
The Defence portfolio covers areas including defence technology, armoured vehicles, military helicopters, fighter aircraft, surface warships and wider military capability. The Automotive portfolio focuses on areas such as vehicle electrification, autonomous and automated vehicles, and software-defined and connected vehicles.
What They're Looking For

We're keen to speak with commercially driven sales professionals who are looking to take the next step in their career.

Ideally, you'll have:

Experience in B2B sales
A background in sponsorship, events, media, professional services or a similar consultative sales environment
A proven ability to generate new business and grow existing accounts
Strong commercial awareness and business acumen
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
A structured approach to sales and pipeline management
The ambition and drive to progress within a high-performing sales environment
You don't necessarily need experience within Defence or Automotive – the company places significant emphasis on attitude, commercial ability and potential, with extensive training and development provided.

What's On Offer?
???? £35,000–£55,000 basic salary DOE
???? Uncapped OTE
???? Extensive sales training and professional development
???? 25 days' holiday, increasing to 30 with tenure
???? Pension, Health Cash Plan & Life Assurance
???? Clear internal progression opportunities
???? Potential international career opportunities

If you're an ambitious B2B salesperson looking for a role offering uncapped earning potential, genuine progression and the chance to work across two highly interesting global markets, we'd love to hear from you
