Location: Sutton
Salary: NHS Band 6 (£42,823-£50,559 FTE) or Band 7 (£51,743-£58,385 FTE), dependent on experience
Working Pattern: Full-time (5 days per week), Term Time + 4 Weeks

An Outstanding Specialist College in Sutton is seeking a Speech & Language Therapist to join its multidisciplinary team on a maternity cover basis. The college supports young people and adults with a wide range of special educational needs, including autism, profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD), communication difficulties and complex medical needs.

The successful candidate will deliver high-quality, person-centred Speech & Language Therapy, carrying out assessments, developing communication and eating & drinking programmes, supporting the use of AAC, and working closely with teaching staff, families and external professionals to maximise student outcomes.

Requirements:

Degree in Speech & Language Therapy (or equivalent)
HCPC registration and eligibility for RCSLT membership
Experience supporting young people with learning disabilities and/or autism
Knowledge of AAC and eating & drinking assessments
