Speech and Language Therapist - Chester
Permanent | Full-Time (Term Time Only, Paid Year-Round)
Nurse Seekers are recruiting an experienced Speech and Language Therapist on behalf of a highly regarded specialist SEND school supporting children and young people aged 4–19 with complex autism and learning difficulties in the Chester area.
This is a rare opportunity to work in a fully integrated, transdisciplinary model where therapy is central to pupils’ daily learning.
The Role:
Onsite, permanent position (39 weeks a year)
Highly competitive salary, paid evenly over 12 months
Small caseload – typically classes of 6–7 pupils
Weekly hands-on input with no pressure to discharge
Work alongside Speech and Language Therapists, OTs, and Behaviour Analysts
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver specialist speech, language, and communication support
Provide direct and indirect therapy, including AAC
Collaborate closely with teaching staff and multi-disciplinary colleagues
Contribute to EHCPs, reviews, and outcome monitoring
About You:
Qualified Speech and Language Therapist (HCPC registered)
Experience supporting children and young people with autism and complex needs
Confident, evidence-based practitioner
