SEND Tutor - Runcorn
The Opportunity
Prospero Teaching is looking for compassionate and experienced SEND Tutors to provide tailored 1:1 tuition to learners across Runcorn.
You'll work closely with children and young people with a range of additional needs, creating engaging lessons that are adapted to their learning style and educational goals.
This flexible tutoring role offers the opportunity to support pupils who need extra help to build confidence, improve attainment and re-engage with learning.
Position Details
· Location: Runcorn
· Position: SEND Tutor
· Hours: 5-15 hours per week
· Start Date: September 2026
· Duration: Ongoing
Candidate Requirements
· Experience supporting children with SEND
· QTS or equivalent (desirable)
· Strong understanding of differentiated teaching
· Patient, reliable and adaptable
· Enhanced DBS (Update Service) or willingness to obtain one
· Two professional child-related references
