Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs? We are thrilled to offer a full-time position at one of our partnered specialist SEND schools in Newham, starting in September. This role is ideal for individuals with previous experience in SEN education, particularly focusing on Mild -Severe Autism.

The ideal candidate for this role will possess a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by students with Mild-Severe Autism and will be adept at providing tailored support to meet their individual needs. Experience with PECS, Makaton, or speech and language therapy techniques would be highly advantageous in this role, enabling you to effectively communicate and engage with students.

Daily Duties:

- Utilize your knowledge of PECS, Makaton, or speech and language therapy to facilitate effective communication and interaction with students, promoting their social and emotional development.
- Collaborate with teachers and multidisciplinary teams to create a holistic and inclusive learning environment that meets the diverse needs of all students.
- Monitor student progress and development, regularly assessing their achievements and challenges to provide targeted feedback and support.
