£28-30.00 per hour limited paid via umbrella company inside IR35
Our client is looking for an experienced Parking Design Engineer (DISABLED BAYS).
2 days in the office and 3 days working from home.
To support the delivery of the Council’s parking service, with primary responsibility for processing disabled parking bay applications and progressing approved bays through the design to installation stages. The postholder will also respond promptly to parking enquiries and assist with minor parking and traffic schemes, controlled parking zones and general traffic queries.

Receive, review and process applications for disabled parking bays, and progress approved applications through assessment, design, consultation, statutory and implementation stages.
Respond clearly and promptly to correspondence and enquiries from residents, elected Members and other stakeholders on disabled parking bays and general parking matters.
Prepare plans, schedules, consultation materials, letters and other documentation required for disabled parking bays and minor parking schemes.
Undertake parking investigations and assist in the design and delivery of minor parking schemes, including waiting and loading restrictions, parking bays and other local parking improvements.
Assist the wider Traffic Engineering team with general traffic and parking enquiries, site visits, data gathering, record keeping and scheme administration.
Provide a helpful, accurate and customer-focused service, explaining decisions and processes in clear, non-technical language.
