SEND Tutor - St Helens
About the Role

Prospero Teaching is seeking enthusiastic and experienced SEND Tutors to provide personalised educational support to children and young people throughout St Helens.

Working on a 1:1 basis, you'll deliver engaging lessons tailored to each learner's individual needs, helping them overcome barriers to education and achieve meaningful progress.

This is a rewarding opportunity to support learners both academically and emotionally while encouraging confidence and independence.

Position Details
· Location: St Helens
· Position: SEND Tutor
· Hours: Flexible (5-15 hours per week)
· Start Date: September 2026
· Contract: Ongoing

What We're Looking For
· Experience working with SEND learners
· QTS or relevant teaching/tutoring experience
· Patient, nurturing and adaptable approach
· Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to apply)
· Two professional child-related references
